Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry

Dental Implants

Dental implants are an excellent solution to missing teeth, and can prevent nearby teeth from drifting to an abnormal position. Dental implants eliminate gaps, providing a permanent, natural alternative to dentures.

We restore dental implants by attaching artificial teeth to implants anchored in the bone below the gum line. After the dental implants have been surgically placed in the jawbone, excess bone and gum grow around the implants, holding them firmly in place. The end result is strong, secure teeth that are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Porcelain Inlays and Onlays

Porcelain inlays and onlays are designed to fill in cavities and areas of damage in the teeth. Like regular fillings, they protect the teeth from further decay; however, while traditional fillings fit inside a cavity, inlays and onlays are placed on top of the tooth to build up the cusp of the tooth and add strength. While regular fillings are made of a soft material that is fitted inside of the tooth, inlays and onlays are molded from porcelain and cemented in place. We are able to use CEREC 3D technology to mill porcelain inlays and onlays.

Composite Fillings
In the past, dentists could only treat cavities and tooth ailments with silver and mercury fillings. Our modern restorative dentistry procedures can replace these unsightly fillings with tooth-colored composite fillings made of porcelain or resin. These fillings are sealed to the surface of the tooth, creating a strong bond that prevents future decay.

Bridgework

If you have gaps in your smile and find it difficult to speak and chew, dental bridges may be the right option for you. Bridges work by closing spaces in your mouth and filling gaps with long-lasting artificial teeth. Dental bridges are semi-permanent and they can only be removed by a dentist. They are comfortable and proven to strengthen the teeth. Dental bridges can also be attached to dental implants for a more permanent solution for missing teeth.

Partial Dentures
A partial denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces multiple missing teeth. It can be attached to the teeth with clasps (clasp or conventional partial) or it can be attached to the teeth with crowns with precision attachments (hidden clasps). Both types have a metal framework and plastic teeth and gum areas.
